In 1989 I started on my healing journey. I decided to clear out the clutter of my mind, learn to be present, meditate daily, pray for inner peace, and learn to be the best version of myself. I wanted to practice more self-love. And through learning to love and take better care of my body, my self-esteem soared and I became much happier. As I continued down my healing path, I integrated all of my healthy findings and vibes into my holistic healing and massage therapy practice.

The biggest improvement in my life was when I decided to become truly happy. I did this by first learning to chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo, (NMRK). Both my mother and my brother introduced me to this amazing healing practice. This was the turning point in my life. The first benefit I got was to become more relaxed and calm in my body. After just a few months of chanting , both my mother and my brother noticed that my anger had begun to subside. And now, 33 years later, I feel a deep inner peace in my soul.

I owe that in part to the wisdom, compassion, and inner peace that I achieved from chanting NMRK, and the other reason is because I gained the wisdom to quit drinking in 1997. Not only do I have no desire to ever drink again, but I have realized a more peaceful and self-loving way of life because of my Buddhist practice. And, without a doubt, I learned to leave the past behind and take personal responsibility for my life while facing my issues every day as I sat down to chant to change my karma. And that has been an amazing healing journey for me. As an adult child of an alcoholic, that is deep, and that a life changing human revolution for me.
